Sony Ericsson was showing off their Xperia X10 and the X10 mini. The UI was fluid on the X10 and the mini seemed to have more of a redesign to fit the smaller screen. Icons were in the 4 corners of the main screen on the mini as opposed to the typical Android arrangement. Both phones were responsive to touch and input. Sometimes you felt like you were lost in the 'blueness' of the UI's but overall it was a good experience. No multitouch from hands on experience. Maybe this will change however at some point in the future.

Blackberry emphasized 3rd party software partners at their booth this year. Some of the partners were demoing their software/products in various pods around the booth. Since we are not in the BB Alliance our software is independent of BB and their pods.

Intelligent Designs Group, LLC has been selected out of hundreds of applicants for AT&T's annual Fast Pitch competition at this year's CTIA conference starting April 1, 2009 in Las Vegas. This annual event is reserved for selected companies which AT&T feels may have a viable software product line for mainstream use. Our existing line of applications in home automation and video surveillance as well as our current software application development in the areas of access controls, audio/video controls, media players, security, and others have given us an opportunity to present directly to AT&T in this annual competition.
