I'm trying out the demo version to see if it's going to work with my setup.

I have a Apexis APM-J011-WS, which is a supported camera. I had a nightmare getting it through my Verizon Westel 7500 DSL Router, but finally got ti to work and hooked up a dyndns account to get at it.

I'm on a T-mobile MyTouch Slide 3G, and I can get in through the built in Web Browser.

The Demo version of TC4Android however won't connect however.

Under login I've entered a name for the Camera, Host is my dyndns address, port is the one that works through the browser. Username and Password are the default Admin and blank.

Under Mode I've selected Apexis as manufacturer. Model: APM-J011-WS. Everything else I've left default.

It says waiting for video, times out and then says

(\/) Error
-------------
Could not reciece video from JPG camera.
(CameraName)

I want to see this work with my cam before i take the plunge.

Am I missing something?

if you still have an issue send remote access to the cam via contact us section of website and we will take a look at it. this camera does work with our app and has already been tested.

also when we tested the camera had firmware X.X.2.28. see if you have that one or higher.

I've checked all my settings against the FAQ. Does your software go through some kind of proxy or something that would alter the IP address of my phone? In order to through my Verizon Westell adapter I had to create a rule to let my phones IP in. No other IP can get through.
If you're hopping through an IP for some reason, it would explain why the demo is not working.

no hopping. the app is direct between camera and phone...
